Grand Velas, Early Light, And The Small Moments That Moved Faster Than The Tide.

The beach was already warm by the time they reached the water.

The girls ran first, as children often do, leaving footprints that disappeared almost as quickly as they appeared. Their parents followed behind, sometimes walking, sometimes laughing, rarely asking them to slow down.

Along the shoreline at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, the morning moved without much direction. The ocean stayed quiet in the background while the children turned the sand into paths, games, and places that existed only for a few minutes.

Some photographs happened in motion. Others appeared in the brief pauses between it all: a hand reaching forward, a child being lifted into the light, the four of them standing together for only a moment before moving again.

Family photography often begins with the intention of remembering a trip, but it usually ends somewhere else. Not in the location itself, but in the small details that belong only to that particular morning.
